In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, Galeria Municipal do Porto is organising Abril Febril, a tribute to the fervorous atmosphere of April 1974 and a reflection on its meaning in the present days.
Bringing together an eclectic selection of musical projects, Abril Febril is a celebration of freedom, of what is yet to come and of the desire for a more plural and inclusive life, uniting generations claiming a common cause: keeping alive the flame of the revolution and the ideals it represents.
In this first edition, the event includes performances by O Triunfo dos Acéfalos, As Docinhas, Fado Bicha and Puta da Silva.
