PLÁKA brings together projects that embody Porto City Council’s policy of supporting contemporary artistic practice in Porto, via the initiatives: Aquisições, Colectivos Pláka, Criatório, Shuttle, InResidence, OutResidence and Ateliers Municipais.

Mediating processes of creation, reflection and research in different fields of contemporary art, it is a platform for synthesising and analysing measures to support artists and cultural agents and their articulation with municipal cultural policy.

The PLÁKA platform is an initiative of Porto City Council, managed by Ágora – Cultura e Desporto do Porto, E.M.
