Led by anthropologist Álvaro Campelo and artist Eunice Pais, this walk will explore how the harvesting of sargassum has shaped the landscape and local community of Apúlia. The discussion will draw a connection between the exhibition Sea Skin and this region.
The activity invites you to discover the Sargassum Landscapes, the result of traditional practices, collective memories, and cultural experiences that continue to shape the area.

He is an associate professor at Fernando Pessoa University, having previously been Director and Scientific Coordinator of the Centre for Applied Anthropology Studies from 1999 to 2007.
