Joint visit: Soares dos Reis National Museum and Galeria Municipal do Porto

Saturday, 19 September, the visit to “Physical Culture: Porto Edition”, by Augustas Serapinas, will take on a special format.

We will begin at Galeria Municipal do Porto, where we will explore some of the ideas behind the exhibition, and then continue to the Soares dos Reis National Museum to discover the original sculptures that served as references for the replicas used by the artist in the exhibition.

In the Porto edition, “Physical Culture” features more than sixty replicas from the sculpture collection of the Soares dos Reis National Museum, including the celebrated work The Exiled, by Soares dos Reis, which replace the dumbbells and weights of the exercise machines.
