Basel Abbas & Ruanne Abou-Rahme

Based between Ramallah and New York, Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme work with images, objects, sound and text to tell stories through multimedia installations and audiovisual performances. Over nearly two decades, the duo has come to use Palestine as a point of departure, both for reflecting on a present marked by crises and disasters, and for projecting possible scenarios for a near future.
