Bonga

Bonga is a living icon of Angolan culture, an inescapable reference in semba, the music from which he emerged as a composer and singer, building a cultural and political legacy that has been fundamental to the history of the last 40 years of Angola and the Lusophone African diaspora.

From the recording of ‘Angola 72’, his unmissable debut album, to the present day, the musician has performed on some of the world’s most important stages, received international institutional and diplomatic honours, but above all he has earned the respect and affection of a vast audience that continues to follow him, listen to him and dance to his songs.

In this concert, Bonga will be accompanied by a band of guitarist, bassist, accordionist and drummer, where he will charismatically position his voice and the touch of the Dikanza.
