Derivas e Criaturas

The selection of the pieces was in charge of the committee of the 2022 edition of the Aquisições project, composed by the curators Andreia Magalhães, Margarida Mendes and Melissa Rodrigues, who evaluated not only proposals directly submitted by artists and collectives of the city, but also works in context of the city’s commercial galleries, during the past year.

This exhibition presented works by Alexandra Rafael, Ani Schulze, Ana Vidigal, Carla Cruz and Cláudia Lopes, Clarice Cunha, Dinis Santos, Estefanía Landesmann, Francisco Venâncio, Hilda de Paulo, Inês Leal, Inês d’Orey, Inês Tartaruga Água, Isabel Carvalho, Jiôn Kiim, Joana Patrão, Joana Pimentel, José Loureiro, Laetitia Morais, Maria Oliveira, Mariana Caló and Francisco Queimadela, Marlon de Azambuja, Mónica Baptista, Odair Monteiro, Pedro Proença, Pilar Mackenna, Rebecca Moradalizadeh, Rita Magalhães, Silêncio Coletivo, Tomás Abreu, Valter Ventura e Vera Matias.
