He is a researcher at Dinâmia-CET ISCTE-IUL and was one of the authors of Strategies for the Culture of the City of Lisbon. He also directed the Vale da Amoreira Centre for Artistic Experimentation.
Over the last decade, he has been a member of the Aga Khan Foundation Portugal, coordinating several local development and artistic expression projects. He was director of the civil society programme and the urban community development programme ‘K’cidade’, during four years, until the end of 2022.
Alongside his institutional work, he has pursued a notable curatorial and artistic career, with highlights including the exhibitions ‘Linha Imaginária’ (MU.SA, Sintra, 2021) and ‘Interferências’ (MAAT, 2022), as well as the ‘Os Mapas Também o São’ series, presented at the Teatro do Bairro Alto.
