Tessellation

The Tesselation art workshop draws inspiration from Mexican artist Pia Camil’s piece Bara, Bara, Bara, constructed from T-shirts sewn together to form a single composition and suspended in the courtyard of Galeria Municipal do Porto. The workshop is an exercise in visual composition using geometric shapes that join and multiply together.

In this project, developed in the context of the Porto Book Fair, other elements – such as words, books, magazines, newspapers and other printed materials – are incorporated into the composition.
