Passage to Crystallization is a percussion piece that merges sound and image through the drawing of a musical score.
Based on the exploration of rhythmic exercises, a neumatic landscape is created in real-time, through a performance that explores the relationships between music, time, movement and notation systems.
Xavier Paes is a transdisciplinary artist. He is interested, among other things, in ideas such as sound and noise, echo and ecology, resonant bodies and the human condition.
