Colectivos Pláka Collection
The programme Colectivos Pláka brings together groups for reflection and thought production on contemporary art and artistic practice.
In each of the project’s editions, in 2018 and 2019, three distinct training groups were presented, coordinated by collectives of tutors who programmed courses dedicated to specific themes.
This initiative has the central objective of exponentiating opportunities for thinking, learning, sharing knowledge among artists and cultural agents residing in Porto, permeating the opportunities to meet relevant discourses in the fields of contemporary art with new forms of reflection on artistic production.
The results of each course were presented in different publications, available for individual or pack purchase.

Publications
The Galeria Municipal do Porto’s publications are conceived on the basis of its exhibition projects and public programmes and reflect the intention to document such initiatives, and foster research associated to the arts and contemporary thought. For the development of each publication, artists, curators, critics and researchers are invited to discuss the themes raised by each project and reflect on its relevance in the current artistic panorama.
