The Climate, the Worry, the Dance
This book is the result of a process of documenting various participations and contributions within the scope of the The Climate, the Worry, the Dance course, organized by writer and coreographer Mårten Spångberg, and integrated in the Coletivos Pláka 2022 project of the Câmara Municipal do Porto.
Moving away from the theoretical and discursive method that has been characteristic of previous courses, based on the exchange of ideas through dialogue and writing, Mårten Spångberg proposed an alternative choreographed course, where dance served as the basis for the construction of thought.
During about two weeks, we worked on the main themes of today through the movement of the bodies: the emergence of an ecological consciousness, unconventional forms of knowledge and the dissolution of traditional logics of understanding the world.
