Surface Disorder

In addition to the exhibition, Jonathan Uliel Saldanha‘s project, Surface Disorder, takes the form of a publication which expands upon the musings, thoughts and recollections inspired by the exhibition.

Co-published by Mousse Publishing and designed by Dayana Lucas, the book features contributions from the artist and curator João Laia, as well as various national and international authors with whom Saldanha has collaborated.

Publications

The Galeria Municipal do Porto’s publications are conceived on the basis of its exhibition projects and public programmes and reflect the intention to document such initiatives, and foster research associated to the arts and contemporary thought. For the development of each publication, artists, curators, critics and researchers are invited to discuss the themes raised by each project and reflect on its relevance in the current artistic panorama.
