Dueto
Curated by Filipa Ramos, Dueto brought together the works of two artists – Joan Jonas and Maria Paz – from different contexts, generations and experiences.
Guided tours, film screenings and workshops were presented, offering the public different views on the pieces that occupied the Gallery’s two floors between September and November 2023.
The book, designed by Marta Ramos, reveals the ideas and thoughts behind the practice of these artists, through interviews and unpublished essays, as well as the photographic memory of the exhibition.

Publications
The Galeria Municipal do Porto’s publications are conceived on the basis of its exhibition projects and public programmes and reflect the intention to document such initiatives, and foster research associated to the arts and contemporary thought. For the development of each publication, artists, curators, critics and researchers are invited to discuss the themes raised by each project and reflect on its relevance in the current artistic panorama.
