Sylvan Harsh North
The group exhibition Sylvan Harsh North, curated by Filipa Ramos and Juan Luis Toboso, brought together works by more than 15 artists, materialising and mapping different practices: from sculpture to painting, installation, video and drawing, the project also included a public programme of performances, video screenings and guided tours.
Sylvan Harsh North was an exhibition that travelled along paths and lines of intensity, centrifugal forces that took us beyond Porto, to those supposed margins where exchanges break out to discover and share the references, stories, words and connections to those places with a long past and an even longer future.
The exhibition catalogue includes various textual and visual contributions that extend the exhibition project beyond the time and space of the Gallery.
