Clube Erva Daninha is a venue specialising in hosting contemporary circus projects. It serves as a laboratory for exploring forms, content and technical experimentation in the circus, based on the premise that the circus’s development as a performative and creative expression constitutes an artistic strategy for the production and consolidation of contemporary discourses. Through its various activities, Erva Daninha seeks to present current discourses and aesthetics to the city, through a diverse programme that focuses primarily on new creations and seeks to foster encounters and dialogue between artists and audiences. A season that celebrates the company’s 20th anniversary whilst looking to the future and its renewal.

Clube Erva Daninha is an alternative venue specialising in hosting rehearsals, residencies, training sessions, performances and other contemporary circus activities. In addition to a space for 50 spectators, it features a warm-up room, access to a kitchen, a café/restaurant, and a garden with a swimming pool/auditorium, forming part of the Espaço Agra complex in the western part of the city.
