Following on from the initiative launched in 2023, which aims to support emerging artists and those from social minorities, Asterico’s 25–26 Programme consists of curating the season through ten monthly events featuring different artists and collectives who will share their practice, as well as facilitating three group sessions to support grant applications and organising the Asterico Festival, featuring performances, a workshop, a talk, a dinner and a party in partnership with neighbouring venues.

Asterisco (*) is an artistic platform and venue, founded in March 2023 by Aura and Hugo Veiga, based in Porto. Its mission is to invigorate the arts scene in Bonfim and the surrounding area, ensure access to culture, develop sustainable community-based creative and programming practices, promote experimental creative processes, and share resources and knowledge.
