‘Pensar do Fazer’ is a programme comprising four solo exhibitions, two long-term research and creation projects, an ongoing installation, a programme of two walks, the second edition of the experimental video and film showcase, and a musical composition. This multidisciplinary format emphasises public presentation as well as research, creation and sharing across the collective’s various spaces (Galeria do Sol and work studios), as well as through the spaces provided by partner CCOP (outdoor arena, auditorium and multi-purpose hall). The Rua do Sol collective thus aims to expand the format of openings and exhibitions into a programme that is more flexible in terms of space and time – something that has become increasingly important in its work in recent years.

Based on the importance of creating, sharing and exhibiting different art forms, the Rua do Sol collective has been committed to an ongoing programme of diverse creative processes, with a view to promoting artistic creation and programming in the city. ‘Fazer do Pensar’ emerges as a source of dynamic energy between artists, audiences and partners, enabling the exploration of new approaches in the fields of artistic and curatorial practice, whilst expanding the formats of presentation and collaborative work, in a continuous flow that places collective working methods at the heart of the projects and guest artists.
